The Portuguese Chargé d'Affaires presents his

compliments to His Majesty's Secretary of State for
Foreign Affairs and has the honour to ask if he would
be so good as to cause him to be furnished with a copy
of the "regulations of Hong Kong relative to the
repression of the illicit trade in prepared opium" for
which he begs to tender his best thanks in anticipa-
tion.
